Making Friends

Over The Rainbow depends on volunteers. Riders may require up to three helpers (1 horse handler and 2 side walkers). Since there is no paid staff the program could not exist without volunteers.

"This program allows all participants to learn new skills and expand their physical and mental capabilities."

Carol
Volunteer

"He looks forward to riding every week. — he performs exercises, stretching, balancing, following directions. These activities help Austin due to his low muscle tone. — In our small community, very few opportunities are available to people with special needs."

Kelli,
Mother

"Thank you so much for coming to camp. It is wonderful to see everyone having so much fun with the horses. We really appreciate the time, money and energy you and your volunteers donated to camp this year. Over The Rainbow is an awesome program and a definite hit at camp!"

Jeff,
Camp Kiwanis
