Overlooking the beautiful Oregon coast, Holmes Sea Cove Bed and Breakfast is a place of peace and privacy.
The home is located at the northern edge of Brookings, nine miles
north of the California border. Harris Beach State Park lies
between Holmes Sea Cove and downtown.
Brookings is famous for being the Banana Belt of Oregon, and is also
called "the home of winter flowers". Summers are generally mild and
predictably sunny, with the possibility of morning fog. In the July
1997 edition of Sunset Magazine, Brookings was described as the
"Best Beach to Get a Tan".
A beautiful trail leads you to a small park and the beach. In
winter, storms can be spectacular as the waves splash over the huge,
black rocks, or the ocean can be smooth as glass. Come during
December through March to watch the Pacific Gray whales migrate.
Holmes Sea Cove accomodates travelers from all over
the world, who are touring the west coast along Highway 101.
The Cottage is available, with ocean view, wrap around deck, private
entrance and bath, and shared hot tub/spa with an ocean view on the
lower lawn. Experience your own nearly private beach. See links
at bottom of page for more details.
