| The borders raised at home are always under foot, mixing with Borzoi and Smooth Fox Terriers,
and as their way of life always makes this home a busy place full of happiness. They are just a
great fifteen pound package with an Elephant sized heart and as much courage. They are a neat clean tidy sort of Terrier. Not truly dog aggressive with other breeds, but will
determinedly protect and defend his masters home and hearth. The Border wears a double coat. The color variations of grizzle, blue and tan, wheaten, and red. To keep the coat ready for working, hunting, the show ring, or just being at home is easier than one thinks. Stripping and/or plucking out the older coat reveals a close body coat that will be presentable everywhere. There is quite a bit of information available about this active sturdy little terrier.
